First Birthday and Christmas Party

You are officially invited to our celebration!

In honor of our first birthday in the new Hyde Park location and just in time for the holiday season, we're hosting a party (complete with a no-host bar from 13th Street Pub & Grill and plenty of Christmas goodies and sweets).

The party will run alongside the two exhibitions we have here at the gallery: Michael deMeng's solo exhibition and 'Small Whimsy,' the group show featuring six contemporary artists.  This will be one of the last times to see deMeng's work in the gallery (and Idaho, for that matter) - so get your last look in while you can.

The event is open to the public, so come one come all!

Goodies from Portland

The owners have arrived back from Portland and brought some lovely pieces in tow.  Here's sneak peek...

We have some new sculptures by Lisa Kaser, along with some of her lovely watercolor and collage illustrations.

We've also received new additions to Jackie Hurlbert's collection of sculptures as well as her oil paintings.

For now, all of these are safely tucked away in our storage room.  You'll have to wait until 'Small Whimsy' to see everything - so stop by the opening in November!

Brumfield's Gallery on Kickstarter

We've just launched a new project on Kickstarter this week.  We hope to commission British sculptor Leigh Dyer for a solo show in September 2014.

In order to bring such a large show to the US (Dyer's first stateside), our budget needs a supplementary $4,000.  We're accepting donations from $1 and up, all of which come with special prizes.  Donators can receive a signed exhibition poster, exclusive updates on the commission, or an original Dyer piece - it all depends on what you donate!

Gallery Update

It's been a little while since we've posted.  We thought we'd clue you in on some updates we've made around the gallery lately...

We've just put the finishing touches on Michael deMeng's solo show in the front gallery.  The opening reception will be on Saturday, October 12th from 7 - 9 p.m.

We also received a shipment from SugarPost Metal.  We ordered a few more Gnome Be Gones, a flying pig, and this spider just in time for Halloween!

We also kicked off our new opening hours this week.  From now on, we will be open Tuesday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
