It only takes a few minutes to show your support for all of Boise's local businesses.  We appreciate your support!

Don't forget about our two ongoing shows either.  This will be the first week to see 'Fantastic Narrative' with Bill Carman, Joseph Cowman, Gary McCauley, and Kyla Zoe Rafert.

It's also almost the end of Shannon Richardson's show, ending in the first week of May.

Stop by soon!

Shannon Richardson's show opens tonight!

As promised, we've posted some preview photos of Shannon Richardson's show opening tonight!

The event takes place here at the gallery from 7 - 9 p.m.  Richardson will also be attending, so be sure to stop by and meet her!

Shannon Richardson, Ray Maseman, and Monsters

We thought we'd post some updates happening at the gallery as of late…

This week saw two arrivals of some toys to our Gift Gallery.  We got the little monsters from Mr. Sog's Creatures.  You can find them on our website here.

We also received some pieces from Snooter-Doots, which are on our website here.  These little guys, of which we have the animal friends and puppets, are all made from felted wool.

We also have an opening this week for Shannon Richardson.  Shannon will also be traveling from California to attend the event and chat about her work.  The event takes place here at the gallery from 7-9 p.m. on Saturday, March 8.  You can find all of her work and more information about her on our website.

Ray Maseman will be the featured printmaker for the show as well.  You can find his prints and more information on our website here.

Tomorrow we'll post a few peeks at Shannon's show in the gallery.  See you at the opening!

Upcoming and Current Shows

We've recently gotten the full body of work for Shannon Richardson's upcoming show in March.  Here's a few peeks at some of the paintings set to display…

'We, Within the Fold' by Shannon Richardson

'Top of the Hill' by Shannon Richardson

Also, don't forget about two our current shows!  We have Erin Ruiz and Beth Bojarski's work in the front gallery.

And Heidi Preuss Grew and Michael Barnes's show will only be up for one more week (ending March 1st) - be sure to catch this great exhibition while you still can!

Happy Friday!  Remember we're open Saturday, 10 am - 5 pm.

Shannon Richardson Press Release

We've just put the finishing touches on the press release for Shannon Richardson's upcoming show.  The show, titled 'The Reunion of Night & Day,' opens in March and lasts until May.

Have a look!

Results!

We're starting to see results from our recent refurbishment!  The gallery has gotten a few new coats of paint, several new walls, and a couple of display cases.

We still have some more changes to make, but we're quite happy with the look so far.

What do you guys think?

New Works

Hello again!

It's been awhile since we've changed things up at the gallery.  But we wanted to give you a sneak peak at the new Shannon Richardson painting we received this morning.

'The Storyteller'

Isn't she lovely?  We're planning to hang the piece up in the front of the gallery straight away.

We also have another exhibition coming up on Saturday, July 20th.  The show will feature work from Ego, a tattoo artist from Seattle.  He'll be driving a van full of artwork over to us on the 19th, so we'll have a few busy days ahead of us!

Image: 'Still Nothing to Say'

As always, the opening will run from 6 - 9 p.m. on Saturday, July 20 and feature a no-host bar from our friends across the road, 13th Street Pub and Grill.  Stop by and see the show!

New Additions

We've recently changed things around a bit here at the gallery.  Here's a peek at what's up on the walls.

(Left to right: 'Wedding Belles', 'Night Divers', and 'The Casual Departure'.)

We acquired four paintings (the three above and one below) from the newest artist to be added to the gallery, Shannon Richardson.

('Little Girl, One Day You'll Be Fine'.)

We also moved these 'Mini Beasts' by Jola Spytkowska to the front.  Each little animal/object is also a trinket box.

They are (left to right): Polly, Devilpan, Dorothy, Edgar, and Ratty.  They're just dying to say hello!

You can also view the pieces individually on our website.  Under the inventory search, scroll down to Jola Spytkowska and that's where those little guys should be hiding.

We also received the two most recent paintings from Molly Hill.  The one above is 'Speaking Gobbledy Gook,' and the one below is 'Fish Gotta Swim.'

To top it all off, our storefront received a makeover as well!  We've removed the awnings and added some signage.  We're quite pleased with the results.

Stop by and have a look at all the changes for yourself!

We're open 10 am - 5 pm Monday through Friday and 12 - 4 pm on Saturday and Sunday.

See you soon!
