'Scene' Article for Love Story

Just a quick post to note our newest feature in the Scene section of the Idaho Statesman.  Dana Oland has written a great article about our newest show 'Love Story' coming out today. You can read the article here or pick up a local paper.

Don't forget about tomorrow's opening for 'Love Story' either!  The event will be open to the public and run from 7 - 9 p.m. here at the gallery.

Artsy Partner

In our recent effort to push promotion of our little gallery in 2014, we've recently been accepted as a partner gallery to Artsy.net.

If you're not familiar, Artsy is an online directory to quite a few of the world's top galleries.  They promote and feature art galleries in order to make the art world accessible amongst the public to facilitate learning, collecting, and discovering new art works and galleries.  Here's their mission in their own words:

Upcoming: Love Story

We've just sent out the invites to our upcoming show, opening on Saturday, February 8 from 7 -9 p.m. here at the gallery. 'Love Story' will feature the work from Erin Ruiz and Beth Bojarski, both of whom created new work based on the theme of love.

We've also published the press release for the show on Scribd.  You can read it here.

Beth's work has arrived at the gallery and is now on her artist page on our website.  We will show you a few peeks...

We've just put the finishing touches on the press release for Shannon Richardson's upcoming show.  The show, titled 'The Reunion of Night & Day,' opens in March and lasts until May.

Boise Weekly Blog

Last Saturday's opening was a huge success!

With both artists in attendance, we were pleased to receive a large crowd for our first opening of 2014.

We even got a little write up on the Boise Weekly blog, which you can find here.

If you missed the opening, don't fret.  Michael Barnes and Heidi Preuss Grew's show will be up here at the gallery until March 1.

We're just putting the finishing touches on Saturday's opening for Heidi Preuss Grew and Michael Barnes.  Want a peek?...

Jane, the owner and curator, is thrilled with the work and the show.  We have both artists' complete inventories on our website.  You can find Grew's work here and Barnes' work here.

Both artists will be traveling to Boise today to attend the opening tomorrow.  The event takes place Saturday, January 11, from 7 - 9 p.m.

Back At It in 2014

We are back again for the new year!  As of yesterday, we have resumed our normal business hours of Tuesday - Saturday, 10 am - 5 pm.

Additionally, don't forget about the kickoff to our 2014 exhibition program: printmaker Michael Barnes and ceramicist Heidi Preuss Grew.  Both artists, Barnes from Illinois and Grew from Oregon, will be traveling to Boise for the show opening.  The event will take place at Brumfield's Gallery on Saturday, January 11 from 7 - 9 pm.
